You have the right to request deletion of your personal data and your business data from the Skyroot Marketing platform at any time. This page explains what gets deleted, what we retain, and how to submit your request.

How to Request Deletion
Send an email to our privacy team with your deletion request. We will process all verified requests within 30 days.

Send an email to privacy@skyrootmarketing.com with the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"

Include your registered email address and workspace / business name so we can locate your account.

Specify whether you want full account deletion or deletion of specific data (e.g. contacts only, campaign logs only).

We will verify your identity and send a confirmation email within 5 business days. Deletion is completed within 30 days of verification.
Upon a full account deletion request, we will permanently delete:
- Your account profile (name, email, password hash)
- Your workspace and all associated configuration
- All contact lists and contact data uploaded to your workspace
- All campaign records and message logs
- All message templates created in your workspace
- All automation flows and settings
- Conversation inbox history
- WhatsApp API credentials stored for your workspace (encrypted)
- Analytics data associated with your workspace
Certain data may be retained after deletion for legitimate legal and operational reasons:
Billing records: Invoice and payment records retained for 7 years as required by Indian GST and accounting regulations.
Audit logs: Security and access audit logs retained for 12 months for fraud prevention and legal compliance. These logs do not contain message content.
Anonymized analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable platform usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you.
Legal holds: If your account is subject to a legal investigation or dispute, data may be retained until the matter is resolved.
Database backups containing your data will be purged on a rolling basis within 30 days of your deletion request completion.

For WhatsApp Message Recipients
If you received a WhatsApp message from a business using our platform and want to request deletion of your data, please contact that business directly — they are the data controller for your information.
If you cannot reach them, contact us at privacy@skyrootmarketing.com with the phone number used and approximate date of contact, and we will assist you in identifying the responsible party.
